Big Clear Glass Beads...What to Do?

A friend brought me some big clear hand blown beads back from an African vacation. Hmmmm. What to do?

They were too big for jewelry.
I wanted something that would catch the light. The beads really are beautiful!
A garage sale later, I bought a $.25
teapot and an idea was born. My garden shines!

  1. I would love to make one of these for my MIL for Christmas but I have a couple of questions. Is each bead on a separate string? And how did you attach them to the handle of the teapot? Just a knot, or did you use some kind of fastener? Thanks!

  7. Sorry for taking so long to respond, I have been taking a break from posting. The beads already had holes n them so I tied them individually to the handle with fishing line.

  8. One could string them through the spout and tie them to a small piece of wood inside the pot.

  9. Wouldn't it be even more spectacular if you added fairy lights hanging out of the spout with the beads ....if you could punch more holes I'll bet it would work.....
